Stay safe from fake job offers
Most jobs are genuine, but fake offers exist everywhere. Check these signs before you share documents or money.
Warning signs
- They ask for money: registration, training, security deposit or courier charges.
- A very high salary for a job that needs no experience.
- The offer comes only on WhatsApp or Telegram, with no company website, office address or proper interview.
- Pressure to pay or decide today.
- No written offer letter with the company name, role, salary and joining date.
- They ask for OTP, card details or passwords.
If you were cheated
Stop paying, keep screenshots and payment proofs, and report it quickly.
